More than ever, now that they make adult toons to.

Cartoons are popular among young and old alike. The very young children like Dora, Sponge Bob, and the like. Ten years and above like the action cartoons that are very loud and dark like Yu-Gi-Oh and Digimon or the Simpsons. Teenagers and pre-teens like Family Guy and South Park. Older people, say in their 40's on up, like the softer cartoons like Scooby Doo, Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop. So, yes, they are still popular.

Yes, cartoons usually occupy the 3-10 spots for cable tv ratings, (after wrestling). Just because you don't watch them, doesn't mean other people don't.

Unfortunately they all seem to have adult themes. Many seemed to be aimed at teens, also. Only the classic cartoons,from my childhood and older, are meant for the young mind. How very sad this is.

I've been watching them for 38 years. That doesn't mean they are still popular but the princess has them on before I wake up on Saturday morning.

They still maybe popular, but they sure did get stupid. compared to the ones back in the 80's - 90's.
