I liked second life - kinda/sorta but it didn't really work to well because I got stuck somewhere on orientation island.
Is there any other game like that out there that is free to download?

SL is great! You said you got stuck on orientation island. Did you try bringing up the search screen and searching for different places? Just click on the 'Search' tab, then click on the 'places' tab and type in something that interests you, such as a type of music. It will bring up a list of different places, choose one, then click on 'teleport' and it will take you there.

there is this one game called village people and you can actually make them civilize with each other its fun and if you are looking to chat 3d there is this site that is called imvu.com and you can meet alot of cool ppl there
