I do this because my foot slips a tiny bit in my shoe, making bad blisters on the bottom of my feet, especially on my pivot foot. . If I wear 2 pairs of socks this helps it out a lot.

I wear two pairs of the NBA socks, and they are so compfortable, so I would say, most people wear them because of compfort.

wow. lol i have a good guy friend of mine who always does that. im like wats up with that. but he said that its because the more socks he wears the more support he feels or somethin like that

some say its cold while playing, other say its for good luck charm, and some also say its for keeping the ankles or calves tight to prevent injuries
and they run alot, so they need padding
