Compact Florescent Bulbs you mean? You bet. Every light bulb in our house is a CFR. Laugh all you want but take a look at my hydro bill now compared to before we used them. Using these light bulbs will get our mortgage paid off at least five years earlier.

yeah, and while they cost more initially, we've been using the same bulbs so long they've proven far cheaper than the other kind! we'd have had to replace the cheap kind 7 times by now! Totally worth the investment!
the light is also a nice strong white, better than those old yellowy lights...

No. I prefer the light incandescent bulbs give as opposed to florescent. Just my choice. I've never liked florescent lighting.

Yes, in every room of the house. I got the ones that look like natural light. I have not had one burn out yet. I'm totally satisfied with them.
