The usuals:
Twin towers,
klcc shopping,
the london eye copy-cat,
menara tower,
actually, not aot of interesting places, they just make it sound interesting. If you're that shooper/party person, KL is for you.
You want cultural stuff, Malacca, Penang, Ipoh(boring) or the old part of KL, the ones with thousands of immigrants.
Beware of the window shoppers, they really piss you off.

you can go to taman tasik titiwangsa to ride the "eye on malaysia" it"s kind of a super large ferris wheel like london eye.
you can also go to kl tower and klcc.
it's so much fun there
You can go shopping at suria klcc, mid valley megamall, berjaya times square
