Uninstall Norton, download Avast! Antivirus. Completely free and works 100x better. ^_^

Open symantec then click on settings. in there you will find all kinds of options. You can change alert status to medium or just don't send alerts. look it over carefully there are a lot of options.

Get rid of norton and get something else.

if you have windows, then go to control panel, then to add or remove programs
find it on the list and click remove
