Why is it sad,at least they are showing some interest in someone other than themselves, we all love gossip tell me anyone who doesn't like a juicy bit of tell all about a celeb hmmmmm??♥

yes it is sad when there are so many other more important things in this world that we should be obsessing over. I do wonder what all the famous people think of us unfamous people--that is if they even think of us since they live in a whole different world-!

I think "most" people like to read, watch, or hear about celebrities because it takes them away from the humdrum aspects of life. Personally, I enjoy reading celebrity magazines, but I wouldn't say I am obsessed with any particular celebrity.
It is sad that there are some people out there who resort to stalking their favorite celebrity. Now that is taking it a step too far.

Yeah I agree, especially when there are things such as children without medical insurance, babies that go to sleep every night hungry, kids getting molested by family members, you get the picture.
Maybe that's why people do obsess over silly things they can't control. It's too painful to think about what NEEDS to be done.

I think obsess is something maybe teenagers do.
As for the rest of us, who doesn't dare to dream and like looking at attractive people in beautiful clothes driving fancy cars?
I don't envy any of them, I would take my life as opposed to theirs anyday. At least I know who my friends are and I don't get separated from my husband and child for long periods of time. I don't have to worry about my husband working with someone of the opposite sex who is extremely attractive and doesn't care about the sanctity of marriage.
It's nice to look at what the rich can afford, and dream, that's all. We all like to step away from reality every now & then. That's healthy.

Yeah I think so too. I am kind of obsessed myself and it is really sad how we give so much money and attention to them.

Please don't be upset but I would prefer you not include me in you generality.
I find most clebrities to be on the boring side and most professional sport people to be on the "not so bright" side. I like regular folks the best.
