Ive just completed KH2 and loved it and recently purchased KH1 and finding it a lot more difficult

Depending, if you played KH1 first, than you'll know that KH2 is alot easier.

Yes, I think so too. To be honest I haven't managed to finish KH1 but with KH2 it was a one week thing. Maybe the Î move helped a lot because you can combine your powers with others and the results are more effective.
It's a fact that new games seem much easier than older ones, in my opinion KH2 is easier because players found difficulties in finishing the first one. It happens with other games too (p.e. Jak and Daxter and JakII and later on JakII and Jak3)

In KH2 you learn many new abilities where you can kill enemies just by pressing X over and over and over and over... Most bosses are pretty easy, my only problems were Xaldin (Beasts Castle), Xemnas (WTNW) and Sephiroth (Radiant Garden).
KH1 requires a lot more movement and skill and doesn't need you to keep pressing X over and over. KH1 also had more optional bosses that were pretty tough (e.g. The Sword one from Agrabah in the desert and the Time Stopper from Neverland at the Big Ben clock tower).
So yeah, I agree that KH2 is so much easier than KH1 in terms of attacks and bosses.

I personally think that is an even match there. Both of them are harder in different areas, when you compare the two. For instance, Olympus Coliseum is harder on KH2 than KH1. You have more tournaments and the battles are a lot harder. But, it is that much more fun to me. But my answer would be that they are pretty much even in those regards. Hope this helps!

Yep definitely.
I've played the expert mode on both games. KH1 was so hard, it was such a thrill killing a boss. but in KH2, it'll only start out as hard, as you progress through the game, it becomes really easy.
If you want a challenge try KH1, using the magic as your strong option. KH2 is easy with any option.

Yes because in the Olympic Colosseum it has bosses that you to be 90 level and more to defeat them. Plus it isn't like kh2
where you can wipe out every body just by pressing X alot!!!! So i really agree with you!!!

It is harder than Kingdom Hearts II. The bosses are harder in the first game more than the ones in the second game. There are also so much more bosses in the first game. Which I think makes the game more exciting to play.
