They are both great kicks...
The others have it right....vans are retro & the chuck taylors are classics
Lately, I've been wearing my vans slip-ons, they seem to be a little more popular. The converse are also really cool as well.
If I had to chose, my vote would be the vans...

well, if you're the skater type of person, then i would go with the Vans. But if you're the jock type person, then i would get the Converse Allstars.

automobiles are marvelous. i admire them. they're so much less costly, too! bypass to Nordstrom's or Zumiez, and you gets them for like $50. yet i think of getting them throughout summer is a solid theory because of fact in case you step in a puddle, you're screwed.

all stars!!....rubbed against tires and possibly dragged down the street behind your car..
if u go for the vans.. don't get the checkered... get the brown solids or another solid color
