It will but always recommended to charge battery out of car with a charger, otherwise it's a lot of load on alternator

Sometimes, but not always. The battery needs charged before using it, especially if it's not a new one. A real dead battery will take a loooong time to recharge by the alternator in most cases and it may not take the new alternator charge if it's too dead.. Charge the battery before driving and you should be OK.

An alternator is a battery maintainer, not a charger.. You could fry it.

yes, it should recharge it in about an hour of driving if the alternator is working good.

it can re-charge it ,but its better to charge it up with charger and it makes the alternator not ave to work so hard to charge it back up,but yes it ill take a while but a good alternator will re-charge a good battery,good luck i hope this help,s.

you need to have your battery charged before installing a new alt. If not it can damage the alt.
