How do i get magical powers?

I want magical powers but i still want 2 believe in GOD and Jesus ,don`t want any frieky witch kraft stuff
no black i just want to have magical powers and don`t answer just 2 make fun of me or tell me something like dream girl dream

You have to either be born with them, or you can get lucky with some radioactive experiment gone wrong.

What kind of magical powers do you think you should get?Magical powers like Charmed or Harry Potter DO NOT EXIST! If they did we would all be rich and turn our enemies into toads.
The bible says that all magic is the work of Satan, so why would you want to do that?
If you want to do real magick then you must study long and hard and realize that any magick that you do will not be flashy, it will just be the accumulation of knowledge of how to use herbs, stones and SPELLS to work with nature, mostly for protection and healing. Any way you look at it, magick is witchcraft (or Paganism). Of course you can always go to your local magic store and purchase parlor tricks.
If you want to remain a Christian then PRAY! Your God will forgive your indiscretions.
As for me. I am a witch and have been for over 40 years, and will happily stay this way. And no, I do not worship Satan, he is a Christian invention and I do not believe he exists!

Addendum: I hope it will be noted that I WILL NEVER tell someone they should not follow Christ, it is a personal choice. There is nothing wrong with believing what you wish, not my place (nor anyone elses) to try to convert someone. I will not tell you what you believe is wrong and would expect the same consideration from others. By the way, I am not bible illiterate . I began life as a Christian, and most Christians are very nice non-judgmental people. I then I studied a multitude of religions before deciding on my path. But if you wish to follow the word of the bible please, forget magical powers, because no matter how benign it may be, you will be condemned by those who are close minded and can believe only what they have been told.

I see what you want and i dont think you really want it. Witchcraft is nothing of evil and you can still have the heart of both god with Jesus and witchcraft. To get magical powers is imposible and the only way to get them is from birth. There are witches who follow Gods will and wiccans too. Having magical powers are hard to control and they are vital. I should know. I am a witch. Believe it or not, i dont care. with magical powers it drains you energy and abilities and it isnt allways easy to control and keep them controled. If you have any questions about anything dealling with magical powers and stuff, just e-mail me. I have the answers, mostly.

they arent like in the movies. there isnt anyone there to help you control it and it is very hard and draining. if you do get a power it might not suit you or the things you want to use it for. it will have its uses however small but it may not be controllable so you may not be able to use it. i belive that i have the power of extreme empathy and that i am intune with higher beings( im psychic) and both are hard to control. visons dont always help because sometimes you 'see' things that cant be changed or you change things and make them worse. with extreme empathy it is really hard to control because i am always around people who feel something. I compare myself to an emotional spounge because i absorb what others are feeling if im close enough to them and if the emotion is strong enough. have you ever known someone who is bipolar? because some days im like that and my mood changes quickly du to the people around me. it is also hard when i feel more than one persons emotion at once, its hard enough dealing with my own feelings but then i hvae other peoples too. it is very draining sometimes and i need a break every so often from ALL people so that i can 'wring out my spounge' before im get too overwhelmed. powers are overrated because of movies and fantasies and if you ever get one you will know what i mean and good luck to you, hope you get a controllable one.

Go on the net and search for the nearest magic shop!

If you tell them you are looking to convince people that you can do REAL magic they can show you some amazing tricks.

Talking to spirits, mind reading, floating (objects or even yourself)

The point is that EVERYONE who has every claimed to do magic or magik or mahhhgike ( i made that last one up ) has been using Illusion

The first question I have to ask you is -- WHY do you want magical powers? If it's for power, or anything like that, I advise you to steer well clear. You'd be getting into it for the wrong reasons.

And for your information, witchcraft is a technique, like prayer -- it is neither "black" nor "white". What makes it "good" or "evil" is the heart of the practitioner. Witchcraft is also practiced in many different religious contexts, including Christianity and Judaism.

There is magick all around you...you only have to look. As far as getting powers, that takes some practice. Start with meditation, and get in touch with the power within yourself, then move on to the magick that is around you. As far as black or white, that, my dear is entirely your call. Just remember the law of threes, that which you do comes back to you threefold. Also, try some of the books by Raven Silverwolf. She gives some very good advice to a beginning witch!

Jesus had "magical powers." He raised the dead! It's AWESOME!!! How much more MAGICAL can you get?! The Holy Spirit gives us the power to "move mountains"! Stick with God sweetie. HE is where magic comes from! HE is the Ultimate Wizard!

Don't worry about the powers, while spiritual practice may give you access to certain powers, they detract from your spiritual journey because they may induce a false sense of pride. Keep at the spiritual journey, don't get caught up in the detours.

Look into Metaphysics. Most of it is based on biblical teachings. Although it is not technically "magick" it is close. Also, there are "Christian Witches" but I know very little about them.
