ever since i was a kid i always daydream...now at 18,its embarrassing...how can i stop???

well you need to seek professional help if it's causing dysfunctioning in your life. is it more of an "out of the world" feeling...like a self-disassociation feeling? or just daydreaming....also what kind of things do you dream about...because it might have alot to do with unconscious conflicts in your life...things that you are not aware of.

I'm quite the daydreamer as well. It was a lot worse when I was unhappy. Keep yourelf busy as much as you can. Do things that make you happy. Evaluate your relationship is you have one. Sometimes people daydream just to escape the life they really live. And get lots of sleep. That should help with your energy to do things. But I got to admit, sometimes the daydreams are fun. I'm a super-***** in mine. I think it also helps to emit some of the negative feelings.

Make lists and have them handy. Look at them at various times of the day.

it isnt really such a bad thing though. im probably going to do it forever =) but if you really want to stop, all you gotta do is stay focused or there would be consequences
