For school, I have to write a letter to the editor about a current event which is based on justice but I don't know what to write about. Does anyone have any ideas?

Saddam's trial and execution - you could say what you felt about it, whether it was justified, or wrong. Try arguing from both sides of the story: it can't be denied that Saddam needed to be stopped but by executing him, it seems to me that America (i.e. the Bush adminstration) was just following what he did to his people in Iraq.
