im 17 years old and i graduated early. i currently have a full time job, as well as a part-time job. i work about 70 hours a week and i am saving all my money to move out.

i want to move back to california with my older sister and her husband or my grandparents, but my parents say i have to wait until i am 18, even though its 8 months away.

If you live in Texas, you can legally move out of your parent's home when you are 17.

you will need a lawyer and you would probably turn 18 before you got to court. Hang in there and keep saving in time you will be able to go. you could call a lawyer and ask how long emancipation takes in your area and what the requirements are. if your parents abuse you then you could call social services.
