Yes, and it started out as a good thing (as most things do).
But then, people start calling protests, throwing pies at
speakers they don't like, talking back to teachers and
parents, and other things that have nothing to do with
speech..."freedom of speech". So, they have lowered the
bar to include things that never were meant to be a part
of free speech. Too bad.

The very act of you asking the question should infer its own answer- Yes. Freedom of speech is, in my opinion, the most valuable freedom any person could ever have.
