when i live my computer on for ang hour about 20 popups show up. They show something like spyware and all that garbage. PLEASE HELP ME

Go to symantec.com and run a scan. If there are any viruses or spyware, it'll say so. Don't use IE, use Firefox instead.

(1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
(2) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .
(3) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one if your present anti virus is not protecting you .

I have Windows 98 and i have installed a pop up blocker on my computer it stays on all the time as far as the Trojan Horse Virus i have that one too but i have it in quartine so it does.t hurt my computer i just run the ANTI VIRUS OR sometimes it runs itself and the computer just puts it in quartine but i don't know how to get rid of it. I HOPE you understand what i just said because I'm NO EXPERT hahah HOPE THIS HAS HELPED YOU.

It happened on my computer too. It's probaly a downloaded file if you fileshare or download from the internet. Run your antivirus once or twice and it should be deleted of at least put in the quarentine folder.

Close all websites and restart your computer. If not, get spybot search and destroy at download.com

try webroot spysweeper toghether with avast antivirus you will be worry free

get avg from grisoft, the avg anti-spy,and adaware se. run all three should help. go to www.c/net.com they got all three for free
