Yes, I would give it back. This happened to me a few years ago (not atm, but an actual bank teller). She gave me an extra $50. The word must have spread, because i never waited in line again.

It happened to me too... I did a double take... my account didn't register it... it was the ATM's mistake... so I gave it to the guy outside pushing an old grocery cart.
Put a smile on his hairy face.

I would return it but most people wouldn't. Its the only right thing to do. If u lost 20 dollars and someone found it, wouldn't u want them to return it to u or steal it from u ? same thing!

that never happened to me, but I don't know....I figure banks have a lot of money, but then, is it right? I guess you did not steal it, it was their mistake....so keep it! Plus all those fees they charge I to use ATM's....the money is yours.

it would be good karma to return it..but eh think of it as a treat,. and i would probly keep itt.. but if it was more than $20 i would return it.
