What do they believe the role of Washington should be? I don't believe that States' rights always work. Education is a perfect example. When you have 50 different ways of doing things how can anything turn out right?

What about individual rights? Do you feel as though everyone should do what the government tells them to do, or do you believe in freedom?

Less government is good government. If you feel different, why don't you move to a communist country where they tell everyone what to study, believe and do?

OMG.. CONSERVATIVES ARE THE REASON EDUCATION IN AMERICA IS A SHAKEY SYSTEM?!?!

my god, woman!!!

CONSERVATIVES HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DESTROY THE TEACHERS UNION SINCE WHO KNOWS WHEN, BUT THE LUNATIC LIBERAL TEACHERS ROUND UP THEIR COMMUNITY'S HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTING NUTJOBS LIKE PRAIRIE DOGS ROUNDING UP SHEEP... THEN THEY ATTACK THE CONSERVATIVES AND.. MY GOD!!

THE TEACHERS UNION IS WHY THERE ARE NO GOOD SCHOOLS AROUND AND TEACHERS LACK EVERY ASPECT OF "EXPERTISE" TEACHERS SHOULD HAVE....

SIMPLY, HOW CAN YOU EXPECT TO HAVE GOOD TEACHERS WHO REALLY KNOW HOW TO TEACH... WITHOUT ANY SORT OF COMPETITION BETWEEN SCHOOLS AND ANY SORT OF COMPETITION BETWEEN TEACHERS... "WORK FOR 3 YEARS?! GOOD, CANT BE FIRED!" (99% of US teachers who get tenure after 3 years do not get fired during their tenure) I mean, ITS ABSURD! Im a senior in Highschool, and ever since Junior year when i finally woke up from fantasy land... i have lost complete respect for my school + teachers (some were good but most were absolute jokes who didnt deserve the job and certainly not the pay increases)... Once you work for 3 years, you dont have to do jack -sh*t because you cant lose your job... The Teachers Union spent 6 years delaying an "open-and-closed" court case against a sexually harassing teacher w/ tenure.. the delay costed over a million and a half in federal money and the teacher, under teachers union laws of course, could not be "fired" .. so the school put him on "temporarily leave" until the verdict was announced... the teacher still recieved his 6 years of salary pay... ontop of paying for the substitute teacher...

You cant tell me this isnt rediculous, i mean commmooonnnnn...

is there a reason why most teachers are given 2% wage increases every year or two? (not in all communities, but teachers everywhere ask for wage increases constantly...)

is there a reason why teachers get payed during vacation days?

is there a reason why teachers get "personal days?"

is there a reason why teachers GET PAYED on "personal days?"

is there a reason why teachers get payed on sick days?

is there a reason why teachers get tenure?

is there a reason why teachers suck up all of our states + our tax paying citizens money when they only work 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, in an enjoyable work-area?!

I GO TO SCHOOL 6 HOURS A DAY, AND WHEN I GET OUT OF SCHOOL, I GO TO WORK FOR ANOTHER 6 HOURS.. AND I DONT GET OUT OF WORK UNTIL 10P.M. AT NIGHT...

I ALSO WORK WEEKENDS... AND I MAKE CLOSE TO MINIMUM WAGE, I UNDERSTAND WHO THESE TEACHERS THINK THEY ARE...

My dad has been layed off many times, we almost lost our house, i had to get a job to help out by covering all of my expenses and some small family expenses like groceries etc..

Did my dad have "TENURE" .. I WISH!!! Did my dad get payed during vacations? ROFL, VACATIONS?! Did my dad get payed during personal days? He got 3 weeks of "personal days" in his 20 years of working for 1 particular company... he had back surgery and he was in greater pain than you can imagine.. those were his "personal days".. it involved a hospital bed and a sharp knife... Working 6 hours a day with kids in a "fun" environment?... Try creating and maintancing computer networks all over the US using a computer-language based operating system called LINUX (and UNIX of course, among the rest...also, but LINUX is his favorite). Working 12 hours a day with relatively low pay in comparison to other similar jobs... doing something he hates and did not know anything about before taking the job.. however, he was forced to not only learn it, but become an expert in it in a pretty demanding amount of time.. these hard working people go through so much, for what? to go home and pay taxes to pay these disgusting teachers paychecks... dont think its stressful in the real world? You try taking the stress outbursts he took out on at times when things looked sour again... no he never layed a hard hand on me, but they were violent nonthe less...
He had to do everything he did with expertise... why?... because if he didn't.. guess what'd happen... some kid in 20's who just graduated with a college degree would take his spot..

These are the conservative people.
These are the people you liberals love to steal from.

Make a competitive market for teachers, pay teachers according to their job experience and ability, not their job title...

Give more federal funding to states with greater SAT or some other form of testing average scores...etc...

You seriously accuse the CONSERVATIVES of having 50 different ways of doing things... and failing on all 50 of them...

Atleast we realize there is a problem, nevermind taking initiative enough to suggest a solution or a plan... the Democrats still support this Teacher's Union bullsh*t...

You know what, maybe the conservatives DO have 50 different ways of doing things... WHY?

..because you democrats have 2 ways of screwing all of those plans.. the Teacher's Union and Liberal Activism...

Because more government costs more - and we pay way too much taxes already!

Besides that do you like being regulated and controlled in every aspect of your life? More government then is absolutely necessary is contrary to freedom...

They don't know what they want. They cry "We want smaller Government", and then elect a President whom has increased Government more that any one in recent history to a second term.
