Yeah, I would just try to find him a job, and make sure he is not on drugs or in any trouble with some gangs. Why would someone need a credit card that is in someone else's name and let alone $5000.00 is alot to be asking from just a friend. Make sure you keep some distance and do not give him any money, this will make him keep coming back to you, and will make him think he can bum off you the rest of your friendship.

hi...
well, i think that you should make that decision (keeping in touch or not) but regarding let someone else borrow your card? credit card, atm, or car? I think that it would probably be a huge mistake. my friend had a guy friend who asked for the same thing but he actually left her in debt. she is living at her parents and paying her bills since she was even sent to collection...too many fines...

I would try to be friends as long as he doesnt try to take advantage of you. IIf after you say no to borrowing the money and he still remains your friend then he is true if not then you got your answer. Good Luck to you :)

If you can resist lending him money, I suppose a friendship is ok. But once you start giving a man money, it's over.

in all honesty he is slim. he's a user and I'm sure that you don't need that part in your life.

Set boundaries with him if you are going to keep him in your life.
