Too many things really...I would suggest the following:
Visit Maracana, Sugar Loaf mountain and Corcovado
Do take a Helicopter tour over Rio and also plan a cruise to the Tropical Islands.
Sunbath and swim at Copacabana and Ipanema.
Visit Rio's Carnivale Town and dine at Lapa Star House.
These are a few of the things I did and really really loved!

A friend just returned from spending two days there. He said the tourist areas are great, but there is a lot of the city to avoid for various reasons. There are a lot of slums, and there are gangs that roam around many areas. Just don't take any chances, especially after dark. Check it out on the internet for tips.
