Llamo actually is a form of the verb "llamar" or "to call" in Spanish. This particular version is used when one refers to themselves. For example, "me llamo Juanita" means, "I call myself Juanita".

It is commonly used when sharing names between people, and is almost interchangeable with "Que es su nombre", which translates directly to "what is your name".

However, you can also use the verb llamar for other things. For example, it's the verb used when you want to call your friend on the phone.

Regarding the other word...I wonder if you're referring to muchas? That would be the plural form of "many". For example, "muchas gracias" means "many thanks". If my guess is off, please add details to the question so that we can give you a better answer.
