ok how do you go swimming if ur on ur period i no u were a tampon and everything but doesnt the water just get absorbed?!?!

Because you want to keep the water clean for other people, don't swim without a tampon in a pool or spa. In a lake or the ocean it doesn't matter. A lake and the ocean is always moving and new water is being added

Just wear a tampon, but be sure you tuck the string in, thatd be embarrassing to have a piece of string flowing from your pants

no. the tampon is inside the vagina. water doesnt go in there.

Your vagina is water tight. So, no water should be able to pass into your vagina unless you purposefully separate the lips.

nope it doesn't effect it. the vagina encloses around it so no water doesn't get to it. so don't worry.
