I mean, race, gender, and religion aside, it seems like people are becoming more and more ill-mannered and rude with each passing year. People yell at each other for no reason. People seem to have little self respect anymore. Speech patterns are degenerating alarmingly. Friendliness often seems so superficial. No one is willing to compromise on anything.
Is this occurring just in America, or in other countries as well? What is the cause of this? And what can we do to once again become a dignified people?

i agree i dont get why people have to be like that, not every one but most, im in the service industry and my opinion is that at least 60%are rude ill mannered and ungrateful, i laugh when they expect me to go out of my way for them, for them i dont, for people that are polite i have and will continue to, every one else can kiss my a-s

ABSOLUTE DISRESPECT and just being SORRY & LAZY *** PEOPLE...they are all around us...it has no ownership to countries or continents. There are lazy, rude, criminal-type people world wide. they would rather take from you than do without because they don't want to work and earn with honor.
Too bad there cannot be a continent saved for those of us who are law-abiding and keep the thugs in other places so they can destroy themselves and leave us the hell alone.
