Why do women become impregnated by men who clearly don't want to be fathers?

Do women not share in the responibility of birth controll? Condoms are not 100% effective.

I am one of those Saps. I have a Daughter born 19 years ago and I felt the same way you do. But I made her a part of my life and was there for her. It was expensive and it wasn't easy but she is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. Just remember it takes 2 people to make a child. It is your responsibility to make sure protective measures are taken not just hers. If she lies to you then it is her fault but some of it is yours for not checking, Ask the question regularly offer to pay for the pills, help put in the diaphragm make it a natural part of your relationship. But don't ever blindly trust someone on such an issue. I had so much stolen from me I would hate for someone else to go through that.

The woman naturally holds more responsibility since she will have the child. But it is both the man and woman that put themselves in that predicament.

I think women do that because they think they will keep the man longer. Or they do not really know what they are getting themselves into.

So many people have sex when they really shouldn't. A lot of people think sex is so cool and no big deal; when it really is a big responsibility for mature adults only. Many people want all the fun and no responsibility.

If the man clearly did not want kids he should not have sex or make sure he doesn't get anyone pregnant and have more responsibility for himself; the same applies to women.

well, if you don't want to have a child here is my advice. Don't have sex! If you are in a monogumous relationship and you choose to have sex, then have protective sex, this means use a condom and when finished dispose of it properly. This means empting the contents rinsing it if you must or pour a chmical on it. Sounds gross but there will be no artificial inseminations in the bathroom. Now, for the females always check the condoms because men are just as evil as women. You ever heard of a man poking tiny holes in a woman's diapragm or the condom? They do it too. To tie them down so no one else can.

My question is and all ways will be this if you don't want kids then why are you having sex???!!! i am not a big one to preach no sex before marriage but i am one to say that since no birth control out there is 100% fool proof then you must know from basic sex ed class or hell T.V that you can get someone pregnant!! so if you don't want to shoot your self then don't play with guns!! don't want to get hit by a car don't cross when it says don't cross and if you don't want to make a baby then don't have sex!! and as for why does she keep it several reasons from religious ones to selfish childish ideas that you and her will be a happy family or maybe unlike this "poor sap" she is grown up enough to realize if i have sex then i might make a baby!! i know what a concept but its true sex can = kids!! so until you are really willing to be a daddy! my best advise to you would be to keep it in your pants since you cant guarantee anything in life! if you live your life like this then guess what no "women" can turn you in to a "poor sap"!

No, the MAN does. The MAN should not have sex with her, get a vasectamy, use a condom, use spermicide and so on and so on. So, the only person to blame is the father, he had the chance to not become a father, and he chose to be weak.

We control every aspect of our life..so why must we blame someone else..

You know, I have thought about this question several times,

I see it happening on the "Judge" shows and I think they are
terribly unfair to the man who was unaware of his paternity and
or wants to disengage himself by giving up his parental rights,
He is called all kinds of names, loser, less than human, and
he looks like a jerk...The fact is he never wanted this child
anyway....on the other hand he could have prevented this
implant by wearing condoms......or even practice celibacy.
