when in the off position they stop straight up.
when in the delay position they stop down.

i have tried a new motor now help?

any ideals, please?

is the motor still on car ?? do you still have the problem??. OK now try and replace the wiper switch sounds like switch has felled and the contacts are worn

There is a "parking circuit" in windshield wiper motors that continues the cycle after the wipers have been turned off to "park" them. This is either not working or is improperly adjusted.

The "delay" mode automatically takes the wipers through a full cycle, delaying the time between the cycles.

ok.take off the wiper arms and turn the wipers on,then shut them off.wherever they stop,then install the wipers where they are suppose to be,when they are parked.

i think theres a curciut board in the motor assembly that controls that. go to dealer or part store i may be wrong
