Huck is a superstitious young man, and that's fine because of the timeline. It happened in the 1800's, so what do you think is Huck's superstitions and why does he have those kinds of superstitions

Standard superstitious fears of Huck's time would have involved fears of spilling milk or (especially) salt. A black cat must not cross Huck's path (bad luck). He would hold his breath while passing a graveyard.

A rabbit's foot was good luck. So was a horseshoe (pointed up) and salt thrown over one's shoulder. The only white hair off of an otherwise all-black cat is VERY good luck, if the cat doesn't scratch you when you yank it out of her. Don't forget about wishbones!

That's good for a start.
