I would chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra to them. This will take them and you off the bodily conception of life and then you can see each other as spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, (also known as Krishna, Vishnu, Jehovah, Allah, etc. We are all aliens to the material world actually. This is not our real home. Due to envy we fell from the spiritual world and are all working out our Karma until we get tired of this place then we can take up the process of chanting the Maha Mantra and return to the supreme blissful eternal spiritual abode where their is no more birth, death, old age, disease or aliens because we all are from there.
