I'd rather have a career. I dont understand women's compulsion to get married, have kids and stay home. to each her own, tho. I understand being a stay at home mom is ten times more difficult than going into work and doing what someone else tells you to do, but I'm just too selfish to give up a large part of my (not very awesome) life for kids. besides, anyone who kicks me in the ribs for roughly 12 weeks sure as hell isn't coming to live in my house! hail no!

BOTH! I'm a stay at home mom with a great career on the weekends! Works great for me!

I think I can be both, it's just a matter of balancing your duties as a mother & housewife with your career.

Since I've never done it, I would like to try the stay at home bit for awhile. I'm sure it would drive me crazy after a while, but would like to sample just the same.

I'd like to be a stay at home mom at least until my kids are well into school. Then I'd probably like to work.
Thats assuming my husband makes pretty good money for me to be able to do that.
