following two deaths in our family , my mum decided to take myself and three young children to london for the day during the half term to try and give us a special day out. only to discover on the train home her purse was missing. this has left us with even more sorrow and for a lady who has always gone without for others left me devastated. i need to see her smile once more what can i do? taking into account im on a low income with 3 children. She feels the purse containing over a hundred pound in vouchers went missing on the train from kings cross to retford yet nobody of authority wants to know.

Often people in that situation dont want pitty, so try avoiding that. And what I always did if I was short on cash and didnt have much food, I would have a bring and braai.. which is bring your own drinks and bring your own food but we can have a party at my place. Often there is so much left over I can eat for a week. Plus the party might cheer her up and let her remember she has friends/family.
