Prehistory is before we started to record History.
Prehistory is the age of Dinosaurs ( They can't write down their history, they do not have hands)
and early man. History is when we started writing. This is Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India, and other Civilizations. If the people can write down the information of the day is in the age of History. If you can't find a single word written by your people in the past is prehistory

History is not everything that happened in the past. Technically, history is anything that happened in the past that was recorded. Prehistory is anything that happened before the advent of writing.
