it isnt gross. It is just another society thing that makes it seem like it is okay for guys to do but not girls....its because girls are supposed to be "proper"...almost every girl masturbates some time in her life...girls just dont talk about it openly as much as guys do. It's perfectly normal and is a good way to release some extra sexual tension.
