i watched the movie "human traffiking" last night...?

that movie made me realize how much a person could be cruel in this world..how can any man do that to a girl? what do you think?

Slavery and ownership has been with humanity for as long as time. It is a huge topic and one that touches all of our lives in some manner. This is sad but true. People end up in slavery for so many reasons but I know you are thinking primarily of sexual slavery and identifying with the young women of that movie. But think again.

Were those fine Nike’s made by young women locked into a factory in Malaysia? Is that lovely rug made by a weaver slave in India? Were your daughter’s Barbie doll clothes made by a rapidly blinding young girl in Manilla? Who picked the coffee beans you are now drinking? That sugar, was it from child slaves in the Honduras? Think about all the cheap goods Walmart has made in China! We know that major companies moved there because slave wages are lower than salaries in North America! What about that diamond in your mother’s wedding ring? Is it a blood diamond?

Think about the millions of slaves killed in the gas chambers of Nazi Germany. Chambers built and supplied with fuel by Prescott Bush, great Grandfather of George W.

And then there is sexual slavery. What bothers you, I imagine, is how close to home it can be! Oprah did a programme last year in which it was shown there are thousands of slaves in America. The girl you see picking up milk in the store could be a terrified slave from another country held against her will. These people will always terrify the slaves with threats against their families.

The first man I ever truly loved was murdered 8 years ago. Why? He tried to escape a satanic organization that had held him as slave when he was a wee child. He escaped at 16 and made a life for himself on a distant continent. Then, he was found. Threats against his wife and children made him obedient to these people again. He was a good man, a professor in a university! It was not until they told him to start recruiting young girls that he had enough. Yes, children and teens are abducted for satanic rituals as well. A year later he was dead for his defiance.

What you may not know is there is another kind of slave in America. These slaves do not look like slaves as you can imagine. They look like anyone else. They are not chained physically. They are chained by the mind, just as awful. I am sending you two links on this type of slavery.

There are some wonderful organizations out there, but it is such an uphill battle. The slaves are usually from poor or disadvantaged classes so who can put out the funds to save them? The owners are the wealthy elite who usually have friendly ties with law enforcement agencies.

Now you know why your parents keep a close eye on you. Now you know why we want to know where our kids are. It is not nosiness, it is because we know the world. We try to keep our children as innocent of these evils for as long as we can, but eventually, like you, they find out. You are lucky to be born where you are, knowing your life is in good hands. I think more people should be paying attention to this issue.
It is disturbing.
I really wish someone knew what is wrong with the man in
the movie. Some people seem to be born without a conscience.
