you can buy American Tradition Duramax at Lowes, it's a great, thick paint and doesn't require a primer.

Most times it all depends on the type of paint you have applied underneath, the pink paint if oil based, should be topcoated with either an oil based paint, or a primer to keep it from reacting with the top coat. In either way, in this case, pink os a decendant of red, and should always be primed before topcoating as it will eventually bleed through in adverse situations

It's always best to prime first, anyway. Primer will stick better to the old paint and any finger prints (oils) that might be around doors and such. I'd recommend a tinted primer because a white primer will show through in any spots you miss, and you'll always find little pin size spots that will drive you crazy later.

It depends on the color blue, if its light blue yes you will or the pink will give you a very strange color. if its more of a navy just paint over the red. Remember your colors? red and green make blue...lol
Good luck, UJ

This depends on the quality of paint that you use. high quality paints will usually cover it in one coat. low quality paints will not. if all else fails, use the latex variety of KILLZ first. but if you buy good quality paint in the first place, you won't need that.

Pink is a shade of Red of course, almost the hardest color to cover.
Prime, prime, prime. dont waste time trying to cover it if you dont prime. It will just bleed through.
