Yes, it was. The strive that followed up to the present is a direct result of that unfortunate decision.
The bible chronicles Israel's determination to usurp the land of the people living on that spot.
Throughout the bible God kept telling them to take that land and they tried over and over with one scam after another until 1948.

There was NEVER a sovereign Arab nation
in the area, so the UN establishment of the State of Israel was NOT a violation!!!

After that it simply passed from Roman to Ottoman to British hands before returning to the original owners!

Yes. Israel is a blight and the cause of millions of deaths, Jews, Christian and Muslim dead due to the USA and its misguided pocketbook cause.
Funded by evangelial Christians, opposed by everyone else, Israel is a fake state of stolen land. Iran is right.

no. The Arabs sould have done a better job prior to the creation of Isreael, and then maybe each of them would have their own"state" at this point. Moot question at this point.
