Like many said leave it in till u go to get it fixed, but if u take it to a tire shop go the smart route and get it patched not plugged. It will take make 15 mins longer and will last longer (not to mention safer). If u plug it just buy a $1 kit and do it urself not that hard.

The tire has already been punctured. Depending on the length of the nail, determines weather there is leakage and if a tire replacement or tire repair is called for. Drive to your local tire shop, gas station or repair shop and now you can pull the nail. This way, your right there if a tire or the repair is to be done. If you had pulled the nail at home and the tire leaks, you would not be able to drive the nail back in, plus do you carry an air compressor ?

Don't pull it out. If the nail went all the way through the tire will go flat slowly anyway. If you pull the nail it will go flat fast.
I'd take it to the "puncture guys" as soon as possible.
The nail might not have gone all the way through but I wouldn't take a chance of the tire going flat without being somewhere where they can fix it easily.

If the nail hasnt penetrated deep enough, it will not have punctured, but there is no guarantee that it most dig deeper.
The nail may have punctured but has a tight seal around it, thus either no leakage or a very slow one.
The safest bet is to get it fixed, in case you get a flat when you least want one. Or worse a blowout on the highway.
Best of luck.

When the nail is in your tire, you are still loosing some air pressure. Nevertheless you could get in an auto accident if the nail is not removed. Go to a tire store and have them to plug your tire the one with the nail in it. It shouldn't cost too much. It's better to have the nail removed than you to have a blow out on your tire because you could get hurt really bad or you could cause someone else to get hurt.

A nail in your tire IS a puncture. It will leak VERY slowly if you leave it in and may fly out under speed. I would take it in to het fixed before you get on the hiway. Do you have a road hazard warranty with these tires?????
DO NOT TAKE IT OUT!!!! IT WILL MAKE IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR THE TIRE GUYS TO FIND THE PUNCTURE.

Put your spare tire on and take the nailed tire to be fixed. The nail can and will fly out if you drive on it leaving you stuck on the road or even wrecked. Don't take any chances.

Pull it out....if it goes flat....take it in and they will plug it....but you shouldn't leave it in....as your tire wears...it will continue to push the nail in further...thus eventually puncturing it if it isn't already.
