Supergirl .Superman is a punk and women superheroes don't get the credit they deserve and the also have better powers. think about it wonder woman, storm, jean grey, catwoman, black cat, list goes on.

Wow, this is really a tricky question because, well which Superman and which Supergirl are you talking about?
If we go comics, and the most recent versions of both, Superman is better because he is out there saving people’s lives, while Supergirl, who may be more powerful that Superman, has not yet really come into a purpose yet (other than being sent by her father to kill Superman).
Don’t get me wrong, I like Supergirl and think she is a great character, it is just when you start looking at the various versions of her (the original Silver Age Kara, Matrix/Linda Danvers (not even a kryptonian nor relative of Superman), and now the current Kara) their origins are so confusing, and at some times the characters just really don’t seem to live up to their potential.
I am not saying Superman is perfect by any means, because when you look at it, he has made some mistakes in his life as well. It seems though he has a more defined and consistent origin, a more fleshed out history, a secret identity, a purpose, a mission, friends and family.
So, I guess Superman is a bit better than Supergirl, in my opinion, even though I like both of the characters about the same.

i have to say superman. sorry but supergirl is kinda lame and anyway she shouldn't exist cause shes supposed to be supermans cousin and superman was the only one to survive from cripton.
