Yes, a website with a "dialer" that is outside your Area Code number causes a long distance phone charge. Those can run into the hundreds and even thousands of dollars.

You allow a "web dialer" into your computer and you dont even know that they are running up a long distance phone bill for you.

No, unless you go to a site where you have to pay to get in, then it shows up on your credit card bill.
