Ok i would suggest making your own. Its a hell of a lot cheaper and you would get more for your money.

www.tigerdirect.com - cases and kits
www.newegg.com - everything computers

$400 for a gaming machine? Kinda rough. At that price your looking at e-machines, compaqs, and dells. They'll play the games but not extremely well. I for gaming I wouldn't go below $800-900, but recommend $1200-1500.

Building a machine is definitely not cheeper, but, you have more options.

Steer clear of Dell, the XPS isn't bad, but a good one will cost you about 3000.00 To get close to GODLY as somebody put it. Try to build one.

What your looking for you might as well build one yourself... might have a chance... although i just saw some awsome sales on tigerdirect.com for desktops about 400-600 bucks and pretty nice setups...

good luck...
