Surprisingly few, considering the impact the Great War had on the world. To me the first couple of films were the best, as there were still enough people around to understand what that war did to the world.
First, try King Vidor's The Big Parade (1925). There is a lot of early on canoodling with Renee Adoree, but once it gets going it is one of the most realistic pictures of war ever done.
Second, Lewis Milestone's All Quiet on the Western Front, which actually won Best Picture in 1929/30 (they did the years of eligibility differently then) holds up surprisingly well.

I'm not sure if it has to be a movie, but I have been watching the History Channel, and the Military Channel, and they regularly do specials on different aspects of the first world war.
Airplanes, trench warfare, various campaigns. Check it out. VERY interesting.

There is an awesome one with Rick Schroder that the History Channel did, but I can't think of the name of it or the battle that it is depicting.
