It was the FBI that first alerted the American public about Bush covering up for the bin Laden's only days after 9/11. 9/11 was a false flag event. Used to justify the Middle East invasion and the loss of our civil liberties.
First thing you need to know, is that the mainstream media is as much a part of the war machine as is a tomahawk missile. It is the medias job to propagandize the war. They help the Pentagon sell you the war. This is why most Americans are in the dark about what is really going on in the Middle East, because the media is not telling the whole truth, and often times lies. At best the media gives you a quick blurb about an event, not a comprehensive view, but just enough information for you believe that war is the right thing to do. Much of the time the reports are scripted at the Pentagon (remember the Palistine Hotel in Bahgdad , Google Terence Protsyuk) US military approved media only. All others will be killed. If people really saw what war was about, it would stop fast (Just as we lost Viet-Nam at home, due to honest journalism, America saw how F**KING UGLY war is, and saw the false flag operations that brought it about). All is not lost, there are good independent sources of information. www.indymedia.org.
The Plan for the invasion for the Middle East was crafted by a member of the Counsel on Foreign Relations, Paul Wolfowitz, former cabinet member of the Reagan administration, in a paper produced by the Project for the New American Century in 1997

(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project...

and a paper written by Dick Cheny called Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategies, Forces and Resources for a New Century

Now if you do the research, you will find the Middle East invasion is not about getting cheap gas to Americans, and it is not about 9/11. It is about global dominance, by controlling the worlds major energy source (oil), America controls all of the countries (and their military) that depend on the oil, get it? (Pinky and the Brain).
Now you need to know that 9/11 was a false flag operation (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_f... an inside job.
OK, now you have a clue, google the rest. In fact check out "Loose Change" streaming on Google video: video.google.com/videoplay?doc...
Now is someone lying? Or are you in need of more information?.
OK, back to the media, as a war machine. Is this your only source of information. How unfortunate, because the war to control your perceptions IS ON. The objective - keeping your belief system as far away from reality as they can take it.
Patriotism is in desperate need of salvation, the enemy is at home, not abroad.
There are DVD's circulating amongst the population that give great detail to what is really going on, want one?
When you take the time to do the research you will find the war unjustified, oppressive, and wrong.
I do not get my education from ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX,NBC or the Associated Press. I get my education from books.

This conflict against terror has absolutely everyone suffering. as a rule the harmless who stay in worry in the international locations infiltrated by utilising the terrorists. As became into advised a number of years in the past, this conflict will final generations, yet, could desire to be fought. what's the alternative ? this is how we combat it that problems absolutely everyone. from time to time the sole way is the armed forces, from time to time financial approaches are perfect used. There are even cases while political approaches are the perfect. Make no mistake , we could desire to and could defeat terrorism , because of the fact our destiny relies upon it.

My understanding is Bush chose to politically allie with Pakistan after 9/11 because of its proximity to hostile countries (Iraq, Iran, Korea) in the middle east.

However Pakistan has been less than a good allie in that it protected Pakistani scientist, Abdul Qadeer Khan, who was selling western Nuclear technology to these very same hostile countries. Because bush needed Pakistan they were unable to pressure the Pakastani government into cooperating with the arrest of Khan due to his/americas need for this allie.

It is very simple, Bush has always looked after his personal interests before that of the american people, and certainly the rest of the world.

The answer depends on how you define the word "us".

I think if you are part of the political donor class and are hoping to get a piece of the huge (and expanding) Homeland Security Pie, he's definitely with you.

I am a lowly first-responder, and we have yet to see much in the way of new, useful training or equipment; just a fat debt to the treasury for my kids (and their kids) and a whole lot more animosity throughout the world towards my homeland.

i think the idea of a war on terror was bushes idea in the first place ... we dont need a "war on terror" period ... we just need safeguards at home and be done with it ... theres other things we need to be fixing at home .. my opinion is that the war on terror is just a front for globalists expansion plans and "new world order" agendas ... its not doing anything for our country ...

Don't be naive! There is a real world out there and sometimes politics makes strange bedfellows. I think this just may be a case of better the devil you know than the devil you don't know.
