Gun control is a commie plot to destroy the freedom of the individual!
Power comes from the barrel of a gun and our founding fathers were wise enough to understand that. Power belongs ultimately with the people who delegate it to a freely elected government, but no government has right to usurp that power from its rightful owners.
The leftist morons who see fit to support the totalitarians forgot the origin of this country - a bunch of pissed off taxpayers WITH GUNS in Lexington, Massachusetts.
I am a proud member of the NRA and believe in the constitution!
I believe that any law abiding adult citizen regardless of race or gender has the right to keep and bear arms.
If you think guns are unsafe take a look at cars - they kill far more people in this country. Legal gun owners are only a danger to criminals who attack them...
Criminals and Communists love gun control!

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!

I am neither for, against, or undecided on the issue of gun control. I am however, pro constitution. If you read the history of the constitution I think you will agree the founding fathers wanted to empower the people and not the government. One way to do this was to arm the people so that they were not subjects but citizens. For me, it is not a issue of guns but a issue of constitutional rights, and the way I see it is this, If you want to do away with the second amendment why not do away with the freedom of speech, or the freedom of the press?

The american people were guaranteed the Right to Bear Arms for a reason. Our founding fathers wanted us to have the accessibility to guns so that we might defend our country to our dying breath. Anyone that is for gun control is against safety to the american way of life. Our country was founded on these principals. I'll rely on the old saying to get my point across why guns are still ok:
"guns don't kill people, people kill people." I don't care how much gun control advocates talks about guns being the root of all evil, try telling that to one of our soldiers that was blown up by a roadside bomb. People will always find a way to kill someone else.

Yes, when the constitution was written, muskets were pretty much the deadliest weapon a person could carry.
This is what the military used in those days.
Therefore, today, people should be able to arm themselves just as much as the military because that is the only way to make sure the government doesn't take all control away from people.

Try though they might, the gun grabbers have never proven that gun control has had a positive impact on crime, yet there are several instances such as in England and it Australia where violent crime has soared under strict gun control laws.

If the Constitution is dynamic, out of date and needs to "evolve" to the point we should ban guns because the framers "never intended to allow automatics and so-called assault weapons, or anything except flint lock muskets", then freedom of the press should be restricted to quill pens.
It's at that point the true necessity of the 2nd amendment becomes clear and the gun necessary.

Belief: Not every gun and not for everyone.
Otherwise, there are some guns that should not be made and there are some people that are not compitent enough to handle gun ownership/use. However, a blanket gun control law I do not support.
