It depends on what you're interested in studying. If you want a career in, say teaching, you would need a Bachelors (doesn't have to be in education) and then a Masters. If you're interested in writing or journalism, a Bachelors would be adequate. I would suggest you seek out a guidance counselor or other administrator and ask them for help.

Most four year colleges do not offer the Associates degree.
Many people will go to a community (2 year) college right out of high school. There are several advantages: it gives you a chance to try your skills at college level, gives you a chance to see if what you think you want to study will really work for you, and it saves money because tuition is usually lower and you can live at home.

If you go to a community college, you get an Associates degree when you finish their program. You can then go on to a four year college and take two more years and get the Bachelors. In most situations, Masters or Doctors degrees come after you get a Bachelors.

Good luck.

Gotta start at Associates level, then Bachelors, Masters, PhD, depends on your major.

It works like this...
Pay lots of money to take completely unrelated classes and hope you get something that pays just over minimum wage enough that you can pay back the student loans.
BTW...Yes...Asso, Bach, Masters, PhD
Depends on what you are studying for as to how high of education you need.
