I've heard that if you have ok grades but you're very active in clubs and sports you can get into a good university.

But what if you have good grades but are not very involved in school activities? Would it be harder to get into a good school than if you have ok grades and are very involved?

I guess my questions is, which one's more important, grades of extracurricular activities?

I know I've asked this question already but I would like more opinons ^-^

Grades are by far more important in college admissions. So are SAT scores. Your GPA and your SAT scores, together, can tell you which colleges will be most likely to admit you.

Extracurricular activities can help an application, but they are by no means as important as evidence of academic achievement.

I don't know what you mean by a "good school," but...

Top-tier colleges (highly selective liberal arts colleges, Ivy League universities) expect every single one of their applicants to have extremely good grades and SAT scores. They can assume that. So they look to outside factors like extracurriculars to help them understand what makes that candidate "special."

Best wishes to you!
