Who is better Manu Ginobili or Pau Gasol?

I think it is Ginobili since i am from ARGENTINA!!

in years past, gasol hands down, but this year, ginobili has is number playing like an all-star, while gasol this year isnt even playing like the sixth man right now

well, i'd say ginobili is the better talent and the better player, but i'd still rather have pau gasol on my team. this is only because good big men are harder to find then good guards. i can list 20 guards that can light it up on any given day, but how many guys can you name that get consistent double doubles? about 7 to 10. manu is the better player, but gasol is at a more valuable position. its like asking would you take steve smith or ladanian tomlinson. you can argue smith is a better player, but running back is more important than receiver.

Sorry, but Pau is better. If all the NBA teams had to pick either one of those 2 guys to start a team with they'd all choose Gasol. Manu flops too much.

well from an unbiased point of view i think its pau gasol. if you were to start a team who would you have manu or pau? a SG/SF or a PF/C? of course you go with the big man. SGs and easy to find in the league. pau is a double double guy and can block shots. manu is good too but not on the level of pau and he flops too much.

yea i agree w/ u. ginobili is more of an all around player, gasol impresses me cuz of his size and speed, but ginobili is more explosive and harder to catch going to the basket.

They play different positions, so it is a tough call.
Gasol is better post and rebounds, etc
Manu is better shooter and dribbler.
