I dance, so I channel my adrenaline into performing. It also helps to look above the people or at the sound booth or at something neutral, and just play like you've been playing in rehersal. Reason with yourself and since you've done fine before without people, you shouldn't have any trouble with them. You can pretend you're the best floutist in the world and that they're all cheering for you or listening just to you since you're so good, or you can go the other way and pretend that someone else is the best violinist or whatever and that everyone is watching them and listening to them so don't worry about what you do since they aren't looking at you to make you nervous. Whichever works best. It's easy to overcome as long as you believe you can.

the stage fright is a good thing once you learn how to use it, just rock out and have fun.

I am a DJ. I get nervous sometimes, but I just channel the energy into my show. I use my instincts and desire to succeed to keep it all going.

Practice practice practice, and then practice again.
The better rehearsed you are, the more comfortable you will be. If you have no doubts in your mind that you could play your piece in your sleep, it will show on stage.
