Normally, I try to be friendly as possible with my neighbors. On weekends, one of my neighbor seem to have some sort of car repair business going on. I wouldn't be bothered by this if the cars being brought for repair don't also block my access of street parking in front of my home! My family don't even have a place to park after coming home from work! Plus, they have plenty of parking at their home but for some reason like to park in front of mine.

Any advice on this?

Have you talked to him? Try making that first step. You might be surprised.

In most cases.. NO its not legal.. as he likely dosent have the Biz license, zoning permits, & EPA permits to do car repair in a residential area..

What do you do? well if you really wanna do something call the cops.. its almost certainly an illegal business in any state.. and under federal law too (EPA)

BUT beware of getting into p*ssing contests with neighbours is all 'm gonna say...

If he is running a business in a residential neighborhood it is probably a zoning violation.

Worse, if he isn't paying attention to fine points of law on zoning, what is he doing with oil and other fluids he removes from the car? If that stuff hits the ground, particularly on your side, you will have environmental issues.

yes, get a life. if its going on only between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm, they can do whatever they want. and you don't own the street so people can park where ever they want, as long as its not a restricted area. If there is no parking place in front of your house, and ther IS in front of theirs, park there. or are you too lazy to walk a few steps?
