I do. I work at a vet, and I know so many dogs there. Much much more than I do humans. And in most cases, I'd rather go see one of my dog friends than a human one. Am I odd?

No. I can understand why you would rather go see an dog because their such kind, caring, creatures that don't judge, look at you weird, or criticize and they appreciate all you do for them. I don't think it's odd because their is no universal definition of normal. But you should still try to make more human friends because sometimes you might a few out there that are true at heart!
P.S. I'm a dog lover too!!!

It's not odd coz of your exposure but the word "socializing" was meant for humans. So I suggest you socialize with the owners with the dogs as interest. You win both ways.

No, you aren't. Many different people have different preferences. If you prefer to see your dog friends than your human friends, then that is fine. You should, of course, still meet with your human friends.

you're not weird. it's not really surprizing that you know more dogs thatn humans cause you work at a vet. plus dogs like you no matter what you do, so it's not that weird that you'd rather go see a dog than a person.

NO, dogs make better friends. You don't have to put up with all the other stuff that comes along with dealing with humans.

NOPE..sometimes i prefer hanging out with & talking to myself more than ppl. but Yahoo Answers seems to be curing that problem for me...... on a footnote if the dogs tell you they feel the same way about you then...that's odd!!!

Nope ! Dogs make great friends...They are great listeners also.They are fun to be around and do not judge or expect anything from you. I, myself have 3 labs. and an ankle bitter living with me as roommates...Gets a little harry sometimes but other than that...THEY ARE GREAT.....!!

not at all...i own two dogs...and just love dogs...go figure i used to be a cat guy...but regardless....dogs are the best...loyal, faithful, happy to see you, wanna play with you...friends like people judge, berate, and can be lousy downers...if only dogs ruled the world.
