Yes, it's wrong for a middle school boy (OR girl) to watch that stuff. If it were okay, they could go to the video store and rent porn movies themselves.
Why? Because a middle school aged kid may have the intelligence to understand what's going on physically, but they do NOT have the maturity level to handle what they're seeing. Having sex and making love are not the same thing, but to a middle school kid...are they really going to be able to watch a man treat a woman like a cheap you-know-what in some porn movie, and NOT think that's how it's supposed to be done?

Speaking as a former middle-school boy, I would say that XXX porn is WAY out of line for boys that age. It's normal for them to want to see a naked woman, and I think that if they get caught with a Playboy or similiar "soft core" magazine then it's not such a big deal. However, anything XXX (a.k.a. "hard core" porn) could be potentially psychologically damaging. It could also create unrealistic expecations, both in terms of "how-to" and what to expect of any future partners. Finally, worst case scenario it could lead to sexual violence against classmates.
As far as girls watching porn, it has been my experience that plenty of girls watch porn, and usually for the same reasons. Some people get "excited" by porn, some people find it funny, and some people actually watch it for ideas of things to try in the bedroom. I would have to say, though, that it's probably even more damaging and inappropriate for a middle school aged girl to watch XXX porn.
Having said all that, it's probably illegal for anyone under 18 to watch the porn no matter where you live. Anyone buying porn for a minor could be subject to charges ranging from Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor all the way up to various felony sex crimes.

It's normal, but both boys and girls do watch it. It's a phase that every one goes through.
Ultimately most people learn that a relationship with a real person is much more rewarding and grow out of it.
I think it only is "wrong" if they don't grow out of it. And it wrong not to teach boys and girls that porn is wrong not because they watch it, but what they are watching is people who degrade themselves for a living.
When "Pretty Woman" came out I saw a news item that more young girls than usual sought out how to become prostitutes.
I'm not going to say it is categorally wrong when it is a growth stage when they are exploring these strange new feelings. But I think it is definetly wrong NOT to teach boys and girls that they are worth having a healthy relationship and that should be their ultimate goal in life.

I don't think that it's 'wrong' to watch porn... but, honestly middle school is a bit young to watch that stuff. Some of it can be really graphic, and can give a distorted view of sexual life between adults.
And, yes, girls watch porn too.

Well, I wouldn't say it's a good thing to do for either boys or girls. Unfortunately, that's the age when boys and girls start getting curious about the opposite sex and/or sex in general. They think they can learn a few things from looking at porn stuff. In reality, porn just gives them a twisted idea of sex.

It is bad for anyone to watch no matter if they are in middle school or high school or any type of school. This goes for boys and girls. Don't let boys or girls watch porn because it puts bad images in their minds which they don't need there.

Pornography is often degrading, and very unrealistic, so it's a terrible place to get ideas about sex, especially at a younger age when you don't have much experience with real and healthy sex. Lots of people, girl or boy, looks at nekkid pictures when they are curious about sex, but boys who are watching porn regularly at such a young age may not have a real healthy perception of sex when they get older. Porn can also be addictive and softer porn can lead to more violent and degrading porn, so it's best to think about what you choose to watch.

Not really. Although to what degree are we talking? Everyone is curious and watches it at some point (no matter what they tell you, they do or they want to) It is natural and healthy.
Having said that, excessive amounts of porn, or seclusion and secretivity is not healthy.
Yes girls watch it too, but more so with their partners, not so much on their own.

Even if you don't think porn is morally wrong, watching porn can cause all kinds of problems, including fetishism (i.e. an increasing inability to function sexually without it.) So it's not a good idea, especially for young people just starting to develop their sexuality.
