You should DEFINITELY see your OB/GYN. That is not healthy. Call them and tell them it is an emergency. In the meantime, eat yogurt. LOTS of it!

It sounds like bacterial vaginosis! The odor totally, and some women get it a lot (I had it like 3 or 4 times in a row). The more I read about it, the more I realized that a lot of women have it mildy and don't know it! Go to a doctor and get some antibiotics. The doctor will just do a pelvic exam, culture it and probably give you antibiotics before you leave. It isn't a big deal, but can be if not dealt with. I really don't like taking drugs, but that is one of things I will for. Meanwhile, eat your yogurt to keep up the yeast when you take the antibiotics, or get some diflucan at the same time just in case so you don't get a yeast infection which is far more uncomfortable.
PS I just read some of the other answers. If it smells like vinegar, it is a yeast infection, if it smells fishy, and is not white clumps, then it is probably a bacterial infection (not an STD). This might be silly to ask, but have you removed your last tampon too? Gross, but it happens....

It might be the beginning of your period! It starts out brown and then as the days go on it turns reddish! I don't think it's anything major. I've never heard of brown discharge. But if it doesn't turn red in days, you should get it checked by a doctor! =) I hope it helps

You might have yeast infection- but have it checked out professionally just in case.
If it's something along the lines of a yeast infection, just make sure to drink a lot of water. And eating yogurt really helps for down there.
