Feng Shui Question?

Question

My bed is in the coffin possition in my bedroom. There is no where else to put it as there is a window on one wall, and doors on the others.

Do you know the problems assosiated with this and do you know what I can do to "cure" this.

There are a few things you can do.
If the bed is positioned where your feet(or head) point straight out the door it is considered the "coffin ready to be carried out" position. One cure for this is to hang a metal wind chime halfway between the door and the bed. The sound of the chime deflects the chi of the door and creates safety and relief. You can also hang a large crystal(at least 60mm) alone or with the wind chime. You can also position the bed under the window as long as there is a solid headboard, curtains or blinds to block off the window because energy enters the body through the head. Good Luck!

having your headboard by the window is definitely better than having your head or foot directly facing a door.

having your foot (when lying down on your bed) or headboard facing directly to a door means death in fengshui. there is no known cure for this except moving your bed or do not use the door at all, making it into a wall.

having your foot (with you on the bed) directly facing a window is also bad. but having your head directly facing a window is not that good, but it is also not that bad, especially if you use a large solid heavy headboard!

so in this case, i'd go for the lesser bad solution.

*note: crystals tend to activate certain areas in the house. since a bedroom is for sleeping, you'd want it to be more yin - meaning less activated energies!

* and windchimes, many fengshui books especially those published in english over uses the windchime. there are many things you can use aside from windchime and mirrors! people who over use them basically base their knowledge on books rather than from fengshui masters who have years of experiences. according to my master, windchime attracts certain spirits or ghosts into your house. so, they are not an ideal tool to use. and can you imagine you having that windchime in your bedroom, how will be able to sleep? so, impractical.

arranging the bed according to fengshui is not really that important. though most western people are obsessed by this! fengshui is about knowing where the good energy is and arranging the whole house according to it - put the room where you live or use more in good energy areas, while the bad are use for toilets, hallways and storage. the kitchen has a special formula, because a properly "fengshui-d" kitchen attracts good money into our lives. usually, fengshui practitioners based the kitchen on the breadwinner, while the bedroom to the other spouse.

that's a strange bedroom! all those doors. if ur feet point to the closet and ur head is not near the window it should be no problem at all.
